This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro race car competed in Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN) events throughout the Pacific Northwest during the 1990s and 2000s, with its current owner acquiring it in 2004. Power comes from a 302ci V8 featuring a Crower crankshaft, iron heads, a Z/28-style intake manifold, Lunati camshaft, pistons and rods, and a Barry Grant carburetor. The drivetrain includes a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end fitted with an Eaton differential and Dutchman axles. The exterior is finished in Hugger Orange with white stripes and race numbers on the doors, with additional features such as front and rear spoilers, rear window braces, and bullet-style mirrors.
The exterior details also include a front air dam, cowl-induction hood, recovery hooks, and locking pins for both the hood and decklid. It sits on adjustable Koni shocks, JL8 spindles, modified front springs, Landrum rear leaf springs, polyurethane bushings, and sway bars. The car is fitted with 15″ eight-spoke wheels wrapped in Caldera Confidence tires. Braking is provided by Corvette-spec unassisted four-wheel discs with slotted rotors.
Inside, the race-prepped cabin includes a Sparco fixed-back seat for the driver equipped with a Simpson harness, while the passenger seat is a low-back racing bucket. A full roll cage with door bars is installed, alongside a Hurst shifter, wink mirror, fire extinguisher, and a 15-gallon fuel cell mounted beneath the trunk. The removable steering wheel is positioned in front of an aluminum gauge bezel with AutoMeter readouts for tachometer, fuel level, and water-filled gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The car has no odometer, and the total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 engine features a steel block and is equipped with a Crower crankshaft and rockers, Lunati camshaft, and ported iron cylinder heads. Additional features include a Moroso oil pan, Setrab oil cooler, high-torque starter, Stahl headers, and Lobak mufflers. The engine is fed by a Barry Grant 750-cfm carburetor and kept cool by a Griffin aluminum radiator, Edelbrock water pump, and electric fan.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission with a Ram clutch kit, while the 12-bolt rear end houses an Eaton limited-slip differential, Dutchman 31-spline axles, an aluminum cover, a Ford-style C-clip eliminator kit, and 3.91:1 gears.
