This 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Sport Coupe, purchased by the seller in 2015, was previously repainted green with a brown roof. It is powered by a 216ci inline-six engine paired with a three-speed manual transmission. The interior features brown and tan cloth upholstery, an AM radio, dual side mirrors, bright trim, and a dashboard-mounted clock. Since acquiring the vehicle, the seller has flushed the brake fluid, repaired the right taillight, replaced the rear brake shoes, and adjusted both the brakes and steering. The Fleetmaster is offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The two-door coupe’s body, repainted green with a brown roof by a prior owner, shows paint imperfections such as a chip on the left quarter panel and rust on the bumper, as seen in the gallery. The right taillight was repaired in 2023.
The car rides on black 15″ steel wheels with white pinstripes and bright Chevrolet-branded hubcaps. Continental wide-whitewall tires are fitted all around, with a spare mounted in the trunk. Maintenance in November 2023 included replacing the rear brake shoes, right-rear wheel cylinder, and brake fluid, along with adjusting the brakes and steering.
Inside, the cabin features two rows of bench seating upholstered in brown vinyl and cloth, complemented by brown carpets with lighter floor mats. An AM radio is centrally mounted on the dashboard.
The two-spoke steering wheel, adorned with a chrome horn ring, sits in front of a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer reads 98k miles, with approximately 30 of those miles added by the current owner. The true mileage is unknown.
The factory-rated 216.5ci inline-six engine produces 90 horsepower. The oil was changed in October 2023.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission.
