This 1957 Chevrolet 210 two-door hardtop, acquired by the seller on BaT in October 2020, features a replacement 283ci V8 engine mated to a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. The vehicle was refinished in teal by a previous owner and includes additional features such as twin wind splits, Bel Air-style trim, wrap-around glass, 14″ steel wheels with whitewall tires, power steering, drum brakes, and a dual exhaust system with glasspack mufflers. Inside, the cabin showcases teal and black upholstery, a heater, and a retro-style digital stereo. The car is now being offered with rear wheel skirts and a South Carolina title under the seller’s name, listing the vehicle as a 1957 Chevrolet Impala.
The teal refinishing was completed under prior ownership, with exterior details such as twin wind splits, Bel Air-style trim, dual antennas, hooded headlights, and chrome bumpers. The rear bumper was replaced by the current owner, and there is corrosion noted on the bottom of the driver’s door. Rear wheel skirts are included in the sale and shown in the accompanying gallery.
The 14″ steel wheels, fitted with whitewall tires, have faux knock-off covers, and braking is managed via front and rear drums, with power steering for added ease.
The interior features a split-folding front bench upholstered in teal vinyl with black cloth inserts, complemented by matching door panels and teal carpets. The cabin also includes wing windows, a locking glovebox, a heater, and a retro-style digital stereo. The analog clock is non-functional, and carpet stains can be seen in the gallery images.
The two-spoke steering wheel comes with Bel Air trim and a chrome horn ring, framing a 120-mph speedometer alongside coolant temperature and fuel level gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 829 miles, with around 200 miles added by the current owner, though the total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 283ci V8 engine, reportedly installed around 2012, has had its rear main seal and several gaskets replaced by a previous owner, and fluid services were completed in July 2024.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, and the dual exhaust system is fitted with glasspack mufflers.
