This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, acquired by the seller in 2023, has undergone significant restoration, including a rebuild of the replacement 327ci V8 engine and four-speed manual transmission. Additional updates include a new clutch, carpeting, gauges, and door panels, along with the installation of four-wheel disc brakes and a side-exit exhaust system. The car is finished in Roman Red over black vinyl upholstery and comes with a removable hardtop, a black convertible soft top, 15″ chrome wheels, a Positraction differential, and an aftermarket AM/FM radio. The vehicle is offered with a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.

Originally finished in Ermine White (936) from the factory, the fiberglass body was repainted Roman Red in 2020. The car features a matching removable hardtop and a replacement black convertible soft top. Modifications to the front end include the removal of the front bumper and the installation of fixed headlights. The seller has also replaced the hood release cable and adjusted the hood latch pins. Side-exit exhaust pipes and a stinger-style hood were added, though scrapes are present on the hood and rear deck.

The 15″ chrome wheels with three-eared spinners are equipped with Coker tires sized 205/75/15. The suspension and four-wheel disc brakes, sourced from a 1966 Corvette, were installed under current ownership, along with a replacement dual master cylinder, brake lines, and parking brake cables.

Inside, two bucket seats reportedly sourced from another 1963 Corvette are upholstered in black vinyl, complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. The carpeting has been replaced, and heat and sound insulation has been installed underneath. The door panels, shifter handle, shifter boot, switches, and armrest were also replaced. The interior includes amenities such as a heater, an aftermarket AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts, though a tear is noted in the passenger seat.

The car features a three-spoke steering wheel framing a set of replacement gauges, reportedly from a 1964 Corvette, including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline, and gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 33k miles, with around 100 added by the current owner, though the total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 327ci V8 was rebuilt in 2024, with the block bored .030″ over, and new pistons, camshaft, valves, rocker arms, bearings, and oil pump installed. The engine is equipped with a rebuilt Holley 750-cfm carburetor and has seen additional updates including a new fuel pump, distributor, spark plugs, plug wires, water pump, heater core, pulleys, belts, hoses, starter, alternator, voltage regulator, wiring harness, and battery.

The engine stamping aligns with a mid-to-late 1960s 327ci Chevrolet V8. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and Positraction differential. The transmission was rebuilt in preparation for sale, though a leak from the front seal is noted, and the clutch was replaced.
