The Chevrolet Performance 427ci V8 engine was installed by BBT Fabrications of Champaign, Illinois, and includes an aluminum intake manifold and cylinder heads, an aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans, and Hooker Super Comp headers that feed into a dual exhaust system with electronic cut-outs. The power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual transmission and an Eaton TrueTrac 3.73:1 differential.
