EXTERIOR: The paint is absolutely breathtaking, applied with precision and polished to a smooth, highly reflective finish. The body is perfectly straight, with all panels aligned and great gaps. The doors close effortlessly like a new car. All glass, rubber seals, and fuzzy strips have been replaced. The black power top and white vinyl boot are in excellent condition. It features the correct dual bulge hood, SS 396 grille, and Super Sport emblems. All trim and bumpers shine like jewelry, and it has dual mirrors. It’s equipped with reproduction redline tires and optional mag hubcaps.

INTERIOR: The white interior contrasts beautifully with the Tuxedo Black paint, staying cooler and pleasing to the senses. Fully restored to nearly new condition, the dash has a new pad, trim, and slick-painted metal. It includes SS gauges and a deluxe 2-spoke wheel. A modern stereo fits the factory hole, with speakers molded into the kick panels. The bucket seats, center console, and 4-speed shifter are excellent features. The clock and interior lights are functional, and it has seat belts front and back. The rearview mirror appears original.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Opening the hood reveals a period-correct 396 cubic inch engine that looks fantastic. It features a Holley carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, MSD ignition, and headers. It’s dressed with a chrome air cleaner and valve covers. It has power steering, power brakes, a new-looking radiator, and a properly secured battery. All hoses, belts, and wires have been replaced. The horn works, and the squirters are connected. The hood underside is painted body color with insulation, and the fender wells and firewall are painted body color with the original trim tag.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are painted Tuxedo Black like the body. Reproduction stickers have been added, and the weather stripping was replaced. The trunk pan metal is solid and rust-free with neatly applied spatter coat paint. The trunk includes a full-size spare tire and jack assembly. The power convertible top and power antenna motors, located in the trunk, have been replaced.

UNDERSIDE: The car underwent a frame-off restoration, and the underbody looks fantastic. The steering and suspension were completely rebuilt, featuring a fatter sway bar up front, new springs, and Bilstein shocks all around. The rear has been upgraded with tubular control arms and front disc brakes. The emergency brake is functional, and the dual exhaust system is new with mufflers and tailpipes exiting under the rear bumper. The gas tank and hanging straps were replaced. The period-correct 396 engine looks clean and proper with a high torque starter. It has a reproduction Muncie M21 4-speed trans from Auto Gear and a 12-bolt positraction rear end. The floors are solid, and the frame has been prepped and painted.

SERVICE: Our lead mechanic thoroughly inspected the car and reinstalled the glove box latch, plugged in the clock, repaired the wiper switch, connected the blower motor, repaired the door lock knob, and modified the window crank.
