This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe underwent significant modifications in 2012, beginning with the installation of an LS3 V8 engine and a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission by Rockland Standard Gear. The current owner, who purchased the vehicle in 2021, upgraded it with a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine from Mast Motorsports. The car features 18″ Forgeline wheels, a Speedtech Performance front subframe, rear torque arms, and Ridetech coilovers. It also boasts a 9″ rear end with a 3.86:1 gear ratio, a Strange Engineering center section, Stainless Works headers, and Baer four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, the Camaro is equipped with a roll cage, Corbeau bucket seats, Vintage Air climate control, an Infinity digital media receiver, and an NRG Innovations steering wheel. The vehicle is now available for sale by the seller on behalf of the owner, including partial build records, a signed copy of “Swap LS Engines into Camaros & Firebirds 1967-1981,” and an Oklahoma title in the owner’s name.

The body was painted in Kia’s Cobalt Blue during the build, and features a revised front bumper, rear spoiler, and a cowl induction hood with white accents and “Blue Hour” text. Exterior blemishes are shown in the gallery below.

The Forgeline 18″ GX3 wheels, measuring 9″ wide at the front and 12″ wide at the rear, are paired with 275/35 and 315/30 Falken Azenis tires, respectively. The rear wheel wells have been mini-tubbed, and the car includes a Speedtech Performance front subframe, rear torque arms, Ridetech coilovers, tubular control arms, a panhard bar, and rack and pinion steering. Baer calipers with cross-drilled and slotted discs are installed on all four corners.

The interior features a four-point roll bar and Corbeau front bucket seats with black microsuede inserts. The rear seats have been removed, and additional features include a Vintage Air climate control system, a fire extinguisher, and push-button ignition. The Infinity digital media receiver is connected to aftermarket speakers.

The flat-bottom NRG Innovations steering wheel, with red stitching, is paired with a digital information display and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer shows 4,100 miles, with approximately 2,000 miles added by the current owner. The total mileage is unknown.

Installed in 2021, the 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine from Mast Motorsports is supported by an Auto Rad radiator with a dual fan system. The Stainless Works headers are connected to a 2.5″ exhaust system with an X-pipe and Trans Am-style mufflers. The vehicle also features a Kwik Performance air conditioning relocation kit.

The power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed T56 manual transmission, built by Rockland Standard Gear to their Tranzilla specification, along with a RAM clutch, pressure plate, and aluminum flywheel. The Bear’s Performance Products 9″ rear end includes a 3.89:1 gear set and a Strange Engineering center section.
