EXTERIOR: This car stands out dressed as a Yenko, a rare sight for a 1968 model! The body is impeccably straight, and the paint shines like a mirror! During its transformation, the body was restored, with fenders, rear quarter panels, wheelhouses, and roof panel replaced. The entire car was stripped to bare metal and resprayed with a basecoat/clearcoat finish in pristine condition. A Yenko fiberglass hood with pins and emblems was added, along with a correctly painted SS stripe. It features a body-colored rear spoiler. All the glass is brand new, and all the trim and weatherstrips were replaced. The car rolls on grey 15-inch aluminum American Racing wheels, reminiscent of Yenkos, complete with Yenko center cap decals and Cooper Cobra radial GT tires.

INTERIOR: The interior has been entirely redone, looking incredibly sharp! The front bucket seats have extra bolstering for enhanced cruising comfort. The seats are reupholstered with black and white houndstooth fabric, adding a stylish touch. The floor features excellent carpeting with SS embroidered mats and a full set of factory seatbelts. The headliner and visors are in excellent shape. The dashboard is fully restored, featuring a 140 mph speedometer like original Yenkos, and an optional Tic Tok Tachometer. The console has factory gauges and a staple shifter, updated for the overdrive. A retro stereo fits seamlessly into the factory slot. It also boasts a deluxe steering wheel. The interior is flawless!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is where it gets thrilling! A limited edition GM Performance ZZ-427 crate engine lies beneath the hood, surpassing original Yenko specs with 480 horsepower and 490 ft-lb of torque. It features four-bolt main caps, a fully forged rotating assembly, and a hydraulic roller camshaft. It also has aluminum heads, intake, a dual-feed Holley carb, high-energy ignition, and stainless headers, dressed in cast aluminum valve covers. A four-core radiator, correct shroud, and reproduction hoses and clamps keep it cool. The battery has reproduction spring clamp cables. The engine bay components are fresh and accurate, with functional squirters. The underside of the fiberglass hood, fender wells, and firewall are painted neatly in satin black, detailed with factory ink stamps.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk is tidy and well-organized! The underside of the lid and jambs are painted as slickly as the car. Reproduction stickers and new weatherstripping have been added. The trunk pan metal is solid, painted in a factory-style spatter finish.

UNDERSIDE: Thanks to the frame-off restoration, this car looks impressive from every angle, including the underside! All steering components have been replaced and look fresh with a new center link, tie rod ends, bushings, and hardware. The front subframe was replaced, and new big block coil springs with Bilstein shocks were installed. The front suspension also has new bushings and hardware, fresh ball joints, and an upgraded front sway bar. The rear features new leaf springs with Bilstein shocks for improved ride quality. The front power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors are a welcome upgrade, while the rear has fresh drum brakes and a connected emergency brake. The dual exhaust system is upgraded with stainless steel long tube headers leading into a stainless steel cross pipe, flowing back to Pypes mufflers and exiting behind the rear wheels. The gas tank is brand new with fresh lines and straps. The crate ZZ427 motor looks fresh with a high-torque starter. The 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive was rebuilt and race-prepped with a custom 2400 RPM stall lockup torque converter and a high-volume pan. An upgraded tubular crossmember with a new mount is also included. The Moser 12-bolt posi rear end with 3.55 posi gearing looks fresh with new hardware.
