In February 2021, the proprietor acquired this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS coupe, subsequently enhancing it with a BluePrint Engines 383ci V8 featuring fuel injection and pairing it with a Tremec five-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle also boasts a Positraction rear differential outfitted with 3.31 gears and Moser axles, alongside 15″ Rally-style wheels, comprehensive four-wheel disc brakes, traction bars, and subframe connectors. Adorned in blue with a distinctive black nose stripe, the exterior complements the rejuvenated black interior. Notable additions include replacement bucket seats, a Vintage Air climate control setup, a RetroSound head unit with an amplifier, a Hurst shifter, a rear window defogger, and a remote-adjustable driver-side mirror. This exemplary Camaro RS coupe is now available, accompanied by a Protect-O-Plate, original sales documents, and a clean Florida title under the seller’s name.
Originally emerging from the factory in Butternut Yellow, the car was refinished in its current azure hue in 2022. During this refurbishment, the weatherstripping and driver-side door hinge were replaced, and a black nose stripe was applied. The exterior features concealed headlights, front and rear spoilers, dual side mirrors, and chrome bumpers.
The Rally-style 15″ wheels are shod with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires, and braking is managed by four-wheel discs. The vehicle’s ride height has been reduced, and it is equipped with traction bars and subframe connectors.
Inside, the cabin features replacement front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Front seat extenders and replacement black carpets laid over sound-dampening material add to the comfort. The RetroSound head unit and amplifier, Vintage Air climate control system, Hurst shifter, rear window defroster, and remote driver-side mirror enhance the interior’s functionality and comfort.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, tachometer, and analog clock. Below the dashboard sits a Sunpro temperature gauge, with auxiliary readouts positioned ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer displays 4,600 miles, approximately 1,000 of which were added by the current owner. Total mileage remains unknown.
The seller notes that the BluePrint Engines 383ci V8 was installed in March 2020, equipped with a Holley Sniper fuel injection system, a high-output alternator, and a Cold Case radiator.
Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission, installed in 2021 according to the seller. A Positraction differential with a 3.31 gear set is coupled with Moser axles. The exhaust system features a Pypes Race Pro muffler.
